You will learn the basics of insect venom, focusing on the venom, toxins, and allergic reactions. At the end of this section, you will be able to understand and describe various types of insect venoms. To help you identify any potential venom or toxic dangers of some of most dangerous insects in the United States.

As per California DPR, you cannot repeat a Distance Learning course in a recertification cycle. This course is online. All that is required is an internet connection and an email address. Quizzes are given at the end of each section to enhance the student’s learning. This course is narrated and self-paced.

Students will be able to print their certificate after at the end of the course. All DPR courses must be completed within the calendar year they are started.
